Hetty Einzig is a Senior Consultant, Executive Coach and Lead Facilitator for Performance Consultants. She worked with Sir John Whitmore for over a decade, shaping the field of transpersonal coaching and increasing the reach of coaching in organizations.
About Hetty Einzig
Hetty is a professionally qualified coach (PCC) with vast experience in the areas of business coaching, transpersonal coaching, organizational and team development, transformational leadership, organizational synthesis and emotional literacy. She works globally as a facilitator, inspirational speaker and coach, and has published a number of articles and books.
Hetty has worked as a coach internationally for over 20 years in corporate, medium and small enterprises and public sector organizations. Hetty facilitates strategic meetings, development away days and conflict resolution sessions and has a range of individual clients at C-suite level.
Hetty’s approach is holistic, spanning work, life and strategic development issues that encourages people to go deeper and think beyond their own professional problems to seek win-win-win solutions. She likes to work with a creative mix of intellectual challenge, humour, energy and reflection and a toolkit that includes imagery and story telling for deep personal engagement.
Hetty’s roots are in transpersonal psychology, a values and potential based model that works with the cognitive, emotional, physical and spiritual as an interconnected whole. This deeper understanding and experience underpins her coaching work.
Hetty is a fully trained and experienced psychotherapist (UKCP) and has worked with long-, medium- and short-term counselling and coaching for over 20 years. She trained at the Psychosynthesis and Education Trust, where she was later involved in training student therapists and served on the Training Management Committee during periods of major re-structuring. Hetty completed a Masters in Organizational Consulting at the Tavistock Centre in London and graduated with Honours in 2011.
Her career has spanned the arts, media, psychology, health, coaching, strategy and organizational development. Hetty has written, co-written and co-edited a number of books since the 1980s and was the presenter of the first series of a successful live television counselling programme (A Problem Aired, Thames Television, 1987).
She has extensive public speaking experience having chaired and spoken at numerous conferences and seminars. Hetty is Editor of Global Coaching Perspectives, the Association for Coaching online magazine and serves as the convening editor for balance for the international journal World Nutrition.
Until June 2004 Hetty was Research & Development Director of the Parenting Education & Support Forum, a voluntary sector national umbrella body she helped found. She undertook all leadership, managerial, financial, fundraising and strategic responsibilities and played an important role in the development of local and national policies. In her role as R&D Director she initiated and managed research, evaluation and strategic development projects.
Hetty is a Director of Be the Change Consulting, the social change organization which addresses the interconnected issues of environmental sustainability, social justice and spiritual fulfilment and how business can help shape a better world for all.
