Performance Consultants is the home of the pioneers of business coaching who include Sir John Whitmore, co-creator of the GROW Model and writer of the bible of coaching, Coaching for Performance and Tim Gallwey, creator of the Inner Game series. On the leadership development side, Gita Bellin is the pioneer of mindset transformation and her work is championed the world over by CEOs and change agents who have experienced it.

Pioneers of Business Coaching

Sir John Whitmore, Executive Chairman, and his colleagues at Performance Consultants coined the term ‘Performance Coaching’ in the early 1980s. Executive, business, career, personal and business coaching are all built on the principles of Performance Coaching. Sir John and his colleagues are also the original creators of the GROW Model, one of the most used and best-known models in coaching. In 2008 Sir John was awarded the ICF President’s Award in recognition of outstanding contributions to the coaching industry.

• the Management and Operations Team which make up the Core Team and are based in London. They set the strategy and direction globally and coordinate global activities;
• the Global Delivery Team that spans all 5 continents and has multi-lingual delivery capability.
