the Board of Ryanair - the low cost airline - and more recently as Director, Corporate
Development with the International Air
Transport Association (IATA).

As Chairman of the Board of Ryanair he was responsible
for Ryanair's transformation from a traditional full service regional airline
into the low cost airline. He is widely known for creating its succesful business
model and laying the foundations for a world class airline.
International
Air Transport Association (IATA)
For the past ten years Patrick worked with IATA as Director for Corporate Development and Director, Interline Tariffs. He helped
in IATA's transformation to become a dynamic commercial organization that provides
effective leadership and support to the airline industry today.
Managing Director of Irish
Continental Group (ICG)
Between 1987 and 1992 he was Managing Director
of Irish Continental Group (ICG) - the largest ferry and container ship operator in Ireland.
There, he oversaw rapid and profitable growth followed by the acquisition of the
state owned shipping company and the subsequent launching (IPO) on the Irish Stock
Market.
General Manager, Strategic Development Aer Lingus
All his early career was with Aer
Lingus where he managed commercial activities including research, government and
industry affairs, interline agreements, pricing, marketing and sales. In the mid
eighties he was General Manager, Strategic Development where he was actively involved
in new business development, consultancy and ancillary activities.
