Marta Storchova

Overview

Marta Storchova has a decade of experience in HR Management and HRD roles in areas of country HR management, HR development strategy, performance management, Corporate Culture, and implementation of values and strategy within Nokia, one of the leading telecommunications companies in the world.

Marta contributed to Talent Management implementation, development of management and leadership competencies and supporting development of a coaching culture. She participated in the creation of corporate values within Nokia, established HR policies, people management processes and coaching culture in new subsidiaries as a way of developing management and leadership skills.

Selected Experience Highlights

  • Supporting establishing a coaching culture and coaching as a way of developing management and leadership skills. Provision of coaching to HR managers and new HR consultants

  • Ceated Nokia web 2.0 HRD Europe Community strategy, mission, objectives aimed at enhancing a collaboration and sharing best practices, and innovation
  • Worked with the global OD team on the creation of new Nokia values amalgamating inputs from employees of different countries worldwide. Promoted understanding of new Nokia Values and supported values roll out in Europe, provision of support to HR managers, organized values workshops in a collaboration with Global OD team

  • Talent management process implementation, provided training and support to HR of European countries, and established best practices sharing
  • Provided support to HR and managers in Nokia management & leadership competence development

International Experience and Responsibities

Before joining Nokia, Marta worked for AT&T Communications Services as HR Director for Central & Eastern Europe. She established HR policies, people management processes, and managed termination processes and outplacement of employees affected by downsizing. Her responsibility covered countries such as Austria, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine.
