James Wright

Overview

James Wright is an executive coach, training facilitator and speaker. He is committed to true coach-oriented communication between human beings - in his view the most imperative and empowering tool a person can have.

The key attribute of a great coach, as of a great leader, is self-awareness. His focus is on integrating this knowledge to enhance personal awareness and performance.

Senior Training Facilitator

During a 14-year career as a National Team Sports Coach and International Clinician, James accumulated a vast and priceless hoard of insights into the components of success, failure, winning and losing and all the challenges associated with personal achievement and high-level performance. Now, as an executive coach, training facilitator and speaker, his focus is on integrating this knowledge to enhance personal awareness and performance.

Target fundamental people issues

Modern businesses and corporations today need to promote cohesion and strong, dynamic communication within their infrastructures. Recruitment and retention of valued, key staff is vital to their success, as is their ability to maintain morale, motivation, peak performance and competitiveness. His methodologies target fundamental people issues that keep businesses "healthy from the inside out”.

Leadership is self-awareness and responsibility

James believes that the key attributes of a great coach, as of a great leader, are self-awareness and responsibility. Only by being fully in touch with our own qualities, both strengths and weaknesses, can we be truly “present”. In this state we can create a trust within the process of coaching that stays outside the dramas, details and problems that can cloud a situation, yet can still feel understood and supported. It is this gradual transference of self-awareness that allows us to move towards our visions by accessing our own insights and motivations, without being cajoled and detached from our more authentic responses.
