Background

While in her early twenties, Carol was invited by (now Sir) Richard Branson to head Virgin's fledgling music publishing company. She worked closely with Branson, absorbing his innovative business and management styles, and within five years had raised the company to be the third market leader in its field. She then became the first woman in the world to found her own successful record label, Dindisc, which today calls up over 11,000 pages on Google. Carol went on to hold board level positions in the corporate entertainment industry. Stars she discovered, developed or worked with included Sting, The Human League, Martha & the Muffins, Tom Petty, J J Cale, The Buzzcocks, Iggy Pop, The Mission and Moby.
