Consulting & Coaching Experience

Alison is a professionally qualified Coach with extensive experience in the delivery of Co-Active Coaching for Business Leaders with a wide range of UK and international corporate and private clients.  Alison’s specialises in the area of leadership behaviour particularily in relation to emotional intelligence and communication.

Alison was one of the first dozen Coaches in Europe to be formally accredited by The Coaches Training Institute (CTI), one of the few coach training schools to be accredited with the International Coach Federation.  Alison is therefore well versed in the Co-Active Coaching methodology selected by companies such a Microsoft, IBM, Prudential, Walt Disney, Marriott and Boeing to name but a few.

Alison’s expertise in coaching has been underpinned by her focus on continuous professional development.  In addition to having over 1,000 hours experience of professional coaching, she has acquired a range of qualifications including being a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), certified NLP Practitioner and certified Train the Trainer.

• Co-leading of Senior Leadership Development Programmes in Sony Europe and Openreach UK
• Coaching of top talent in corporates such as HSBC Private Bank, Sony Europe and Dennis Publishing (including board members)
• Designing and delivering bespoke programmes for  leaders to create high performing team

International Banking Background

Alison’s early career was in international banking where she spent 8 years working on the trading floors for several prestigious international banking organisations.  These roles involved pioneering work in developing foreign exchange futures and options trading as well as achieving expertise in Eurocommercial paper, making her one of the few people in the world with this knowledge at the  time.  Managing a portfolio of private clients including Bank of England, Kingdom of Sweden, BP, BHP of Australia, Kuwait Investment Office, Commonwealth Bank of Australia and World Bank, Alison went on to become Vice President of First Interstate Bank of California (now US Bank) – North America’s largest retail bank.

Alison also has extensive experience of all aspects of Property Development, through running an international portfolio of residential properties.

Her early career involved travelling, working and living in Europe – a legacy of her degree in French and German.

Alison also has a close affiliation with sport, having played at national and international levels in both hockey and squash.  It is her drive for excellence in all that she does that makes her a truly committed and focused leadership development coach.
