Performance Consultants International provides specialist advisory, coaching, leadership and transformation services in selected markets around the world.


Selective international expansion

Our growth strategy is to expand selectively, seeking only to enter markets where we perceive there is a genuine opportunity to add real value. This approach offers two important advantages:

* the flexibility to enter new markets as opportunities arise
* the freedom to respond to the special requirements of individual markets in the region and around the world.

Our company is run on the principle of centralization of financial decisions at the centre, and rather extreme delegation of operating authority to a number of key managers at the individual company or business unit level.

Our distinctive management style is key to our success. We provide individual businesses with a balance between operating freedom, controls on risk limits and observance of professional standards. It is designed to be non-hierarchical and encourages a sense of ownership and entrepreneurial endeavour across the whole Group.

This approach produces an occasional major mistake that might have been eliminated or minimized through closer operating controls. But it also eliminates large layers of costs and dramatically speeds decision-making. Because everyone has a great deal to do, a very great deal gets done. Most important of all, it enables us to attract and retain some extraordinarily talented individuals - people who simply can't be hired in the normal course of events - who find working with us to be almost identical to running their own business.

We recognise that our people and our lives are our most valuable assets & capital, and we shall continue to grow and invest this way now and moving forward. We place much trust in them - and their achievements have far exceeded that trust.
